Dave Matthews – Grace is Gone

I’ve recently discovered the magic of Dave Matthews. He’s been coming to the Gorge (in George, Washington) (honest) (and there used to be a hotel there called the Martha Inn) for years, and I always wondered who this artist was who could command three nights at this incredible venue.

I wish I’d known about him when I lived in the NW, and could have seen him perform live. But I was busy doing something else.

Then I moved to Charlottesville, VA and learned that this is a place he’s called home, and how the locals tell have stories about him and the band. How he’d play in the Cville bars, and how he now contributes to local causes.

So if you haven’t heard his music before, sit back and watch, and listen. His voice is unique, yet mesmerizing. Another artist whose lyrics inspire me to get back to writing…something.
