Biking on the Arizona Canal

If you’re wondering what happened….well, I told you I wasn’t sure I was going to keep using Posterous. And so – voila! I’m not saying it’s bad, just that it didn’t suit me. Or my readers – I received a lot of email about the difficulty of commenting. So I hope you’ll be pleased with this one! I’m still learning and tweaking, so hang in there while the page undergoes renovation. And let me know if you have problems commenting on this site…

In the meantime, here are a couple of pictures from our 12 mile bike ride along the canal this weekend. We stopped halfway through for beers and nachos at the Arcadia Tavern, an incredibly cool place I hope to return to. The canal offers a peaceful, scenic, bike-friendly way to wander around Phoenix. So far we’ve gone 7 miles west and 6 miles east. Plans are to keep extending those journeys – especially if there’s food or drinks at the end!

Oh, no. Not W.P. I hear they randomly trash your content every 90 days. KIDDING!

Good luck on your new format. Only reason I ran into W.P. was because they had an ez PayPal DONATE html code for my charity golf tournament.

I’m still playing with themes and backgrounds after 3 years. Holler if I can assist.

Nice island you have there. CHEERS

Just commenting to let you know I can comment!!! LOL Love it!

  4. Sounds like you’re having a great time in Arizona. Sometime I’ll write you privately about my feelings about that state…

You rode 7 miles west and 6 miles east… When will you go that last mile to get back home? LOL

This blog looks and acts great.

This is much better a format, Beth! WP has been around for a while, too. I also like that we can “reply” in a staggered manner to what others comment. 🙂

    Great photos!

Oh, and I really like the email feature that send me a message when you have a new post!
    Fabulous!

Glad you approve, Julie! Esp. since you found it before it even went live! 🙂 I like it better, too. Still figuring out all the features.

Stay warm down there! Although I heard it was below zero in Buena Vista…
